Note: This option is only for use by existing users wishing to add a new web hosting plan to their domain or upgrade an existing web hosting plan with less than 1 year to expiry.

Users with hosting accounts due to expire in over a years time MUST contact support for an upgrade quote, you can not use this form.

It is possible to add a web hosting plan to your account or upgrade your existing web hosting plan at any time.

To change between Windows and Unix hosting (or vice versa) you must select the option to ADD the new plan to your account. Your existing hosting plan will be terminated without refund and a new hosting plan of the type selected will be created.

When upgrading, you will be charged the difference between the annual cost of your current web hosting plan and the new one (minimum charge is £5 +VAT). If the new plan you are upgrading to is the same or a lower cost then you will be charged a one-off administration fee of £5 + VAT. Sorry but we are unable to offer pro-rata charging, your upgraded plan will run until the expiry date of your original plan.

If you no longer require web hosting for your domain(s) or you wish to upgrade your existing Domain Forwarding / Parking account, you can select the 'Change to Domain Plus account' option from the list and pay a one-off administration charge of £5.00 (excl. VAT). Your existing account will be deleted and a new Domain Plus account set-up, requiring you to set-up all your email options (mailboxes / forwarders) again.

Note: If you wish to downgrade the web hosting option on your account you will only be able to do so at the end of the current prepaid period.

Any change of hosting plan will take effect approximately 24-48 hours after placing your order irrespective of the amount of time left on your existing plan

If you are: Adding either a Windows or Unix ULTRA web hosting plan to your Domain Plus account Changing between Unix and Unix ULTRA hosting Changing between Windows and Unix hosting (or vice versa) Adding a Unix ULTRA web hosting plan to your Domain Forwarding / Parking account The DNS information on your domain has to be updated to point at a different server and the propagation of this DNS update usually takes approximately 24 hours. Any web requests or email will continue to be handled by the old server until the DNS propagation is complete. You should continue to check for emails on your old account until the propagation completes. When you receive your new account details YOU WILL NEED to reconfigure your email options (forwarding, mail boxes etc.) and, if you already had a web hosting account, reload your web site files and any database to the new server. On the Unix ULTRA servers, if the DNS propagation completes before you have reconfigured your email options any email received by the new server will be placed in a catch-all email account. Note: If you already had a web hosting account, please ensure that you have saved a copy of your web site files and data on your local system before requesting the upgrade. phpMyAdmin can be used to export data and table definitions from a MySQL database for re-uploading to the new server (contact us using the support request option in your control panel if you need help with this). Stored emails on your account can not be transferred so you should ensure that you have downloaded them to your local PC. Likewise STATS can not be transferred between servers. Or if you are: Adding a Windows web hosting plan to your Domain Forwarding / Parking account Upgrading your web hosting plan to one of the same type (Unix ULTRA or Windows) YOU WILL NOT NEED to reconfigure your email options or, if you already had a web hosting account, reload your web site files and databases.
