Host Unlimited Domains

If you wish to register multiple domain names for your web site you can specify one to be the primary domain and have all the other domains mirror it. Any web requests or email sent to the other domains will be processed as though they had been sent to the primary domain. This is designed to save you time in configuring individual domains and save you money as you only need to pay for web hosting on the primary domain.

If you have already registered a domain elsewhere you can transfer it and add it to your account.

Unlimited Email Addresses

Receive email sent to any address at your domain name(s). Mail to any address can be sent either to a POP3 mailbox on our server of forwarded to an existing email address elsewhere.

Unlimited POP3 Mailboxes A POP3 mailbox is essentially a password protected area where mail is stored until you are ready to read it using a mail client such at Microsoft Outlook. You can create a mailbox for each person or department in your organisation.

Unlimited Auto Responders

Auto Responders reply to incoming email instantly and automatically. You can set and change the text of the reply and the trigger address whenever you like. Auto Responders are ideal for customer service or informing people when you are away.

Unlimited Multi Recipient Addresses

A multi recipient address enables a single email message to be delivered to multiple recipients in your organisation. MRAs are ideal for distributing staff bulletins and memos quickly and efficiently.

Microsoft FrontPage Server Extensions ( ** Only activated if requested. ) Optional FrontPage 2002 extensions can be installed on your web hosting account. This allows you to take advantage of the dynamic features and publication wizard in Microsoft's web page authoring software. Note: Due to the shared environment (virtual hosting), FrontPage subwebs, usage analysis and user management features are disabled. You should only request the installation of the server extensions if you intend to use Microsoft's FrontPage software to create and upload your web site. The installation process will remove any existing content from your web space so you will need to re-upload your site immediately after the installation using FrontPage. Once FrontPage extensions have been installed, you will not be able to upload your files and manage your site using FTP.

CGI Scripting in Perl

CGI scripts are small programs that run on the server to add interactivity to your site. Our servers run the latest version of Active Perl allowing you to develop and install your own Perl CGI scripts.

Note: Whilst it is possible to execute a CGI program from a server side include, this feature is disabled on our systems due to the security issues it presents.

Server Side Includes

Server Side Includes enable the addition of dynamic elements to your HTML web pages. Automatically insert dates, file information and other HTML documents.

Active Server Pages ASP is a powerful server side scripting language ideal for the creation of dynamic data driven web sites. Our Windows servers run the latest version of IIS offering full support for ASP scripts.

MSXML Scripting XML allows developers to easily describe and deliver rich, structured data from any application in a standard and consistent way. Version 4 of the Microsoft XML Parser is installed on our servers.

Graphical Web Site Statistics View graphical usage statistics for your web site, see how many people are visiting your site, where they come from, what search keywords they use to find you and more.

24/7 FTP Access

Round the clock unlimited access to your account to upload files and make changes to your pages. You can FTP to your account using any ISP connection.

Note: FTP access is disabled if FrontPage extensions are installed on your account.

Search Engine Submission Tool Submit your site to the worlds major search engines with one click. Please note that it can take months for your site to appear in the search engine listings following submission and we make no guarantee that the search engines will accept your URL for inclusion in their indexes.

SPAM Filtering

Unsolicited commercial email commonly referred to as SPAM is the Internet equivalent of junk mail. Our mail servers consult with a world wide database of known spammers and will refuse email sent from them. This reduces the amount of junk mail in your inbox increasing your productivity.

Email Virus Protection

Computer viruses distributed through the email system can cause untold harm to users unfortunate enough to receive them. Using qmail-scanner, your email is scanned for established viruses alerting you to the danger before damage is done.

Note: Our software may not always detect the latest viruses. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have the necessary anti-virus software installed on your PC to protect it from the effects of email viruses.

Email Technical Support

Email technical support is available should you run into difficulty configuring your account. In order to maintain our low prices for domain name registration and web hosting solutions, we are unable to offer telephone support or support relating to web site development.

2GB Monthly Data Transfer (Bandwidth)

Each time a domain on your account is accessed or email is sent to a domain on your account data is transferred across the Internet. Your account will be subject to a limit of 2GB of data transfer per month which is more than enough for normal usage. The amount of data transfer on your account can be monitored via your control panel.

Less than 0.5% of our customers have ever exceeded their monthly limit, but in the unlikely event that you do, a surcharge of £15 + VAT for each additional 1GB or part of that exceeds the limit will be payable.

Microsoft Access Databases

Microsoft Access Databases can be uploaded to your web space for use with your ASP applications

128 Bit SSL Secure Server ( ** Only activated if requested. ) SSL (Secure Socket Layer) allows the collection of sensitive data such as credit card information from browsers via a strongly encrypted connection. You can opt to have access to your own folder on our shared secure server.

7 Day Money Back Guarantee If you are not completely satisfied with our web hosting services within the first week of use, we will refund the web hosting charges paid, less an administration fee of £10.00 + VAT per item if either FrontPage extensions or SSL shared folders were installed on your account and £15.00 + VAT if your account included .NET functionality. This guarantee does not apply to domain name registration or transfer charges.

Free Transfer To Another ISP

No charge is payable to us in the event that you wish to transfer your domain(s) to another ISP or web hosting company providing your web hosting account has not already expired.

In the event that your web hosting account has already expired there will be a one-off administration charge of £5.00 (£5.88 incl. VAT) to make any change to the name servers or IPS Tag on your domain or to authorise a registry transfer.

Please also note that all our web hosting charges are payable annually in advance and, if you decide to transfer your domain(s) after the 7 day guarantee period has expired, you will not be entitled to receive a refund. Your web hosting account is not transferable and will be terminated as soon as you request the transfer of the domain(s) for which it was set-up.
